This workshop focused on Outcome Based Education(OBE) pedagogical style. Faculty members were able to build courses for given syllabi in accordance with outcome based education requirements.

WORKSHOP ON ETHICAL HACKING & CYBER SECURITY
Department of Computer Science & Engineering/ Information Technology & MCA organized a practical workshop on Ethical Hacking & Cyber security on 10th August 2017 Trainers from Cyber Security Academy shared the knowledge of Ethical Hacking & Cyber Security and discussed the huge career opportunity and certifications in the field of Cyber Security.

TIMES OF INDIA CODING CONTEST
Times of India coding contest of TECHGIG was held on 24th August 2017 at our campus for the CS & IT Branches. Prizes worth Rs. 1 lac has been announced for the winners and all the participants shall get the participation certificate for the same.

IEC Organised Health Awareness Talk on Head Injury in association with Bakson Medical College on 26th Aug 2017. All the students and faculty members attended the workshop

A Workshop on Oracle Certification by Indovision WAS HELD On 26th Aug 2017 for CS/IT - II & III Year Students.

QUIZ COMPETITION
Department of Electrical Engineering organized a quiz competition for the students of their branch on Basic Concepts of Electrical Engineering on 26th August 2017. The winners of the quiz were distributed prize and certificates.

SEMINAR ON EMBEDDED SYSTEMS
ECE department was organized a seminar on "EMBEDDED SYSTEMS" on 26-08-2017 (Saturday) from 11:00 am to 01:30 pm. The session was amazing and knowledge full to our students.
Dr Sandeep Gupta, Director of 3ST Technologies Pvt. Ltd was invited to conduct this seminar. The charter of 3 ST Technologies PVT Ltd is to work in the area of design and verification IP's, embedded system and robotics related products and service and provide the best in class quality of services to client and customers.

WORKSHOP ON PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
A one day workshop on "Personality Development Programme" was organized by Management department on 28th August 2017. The workshop started with the welcome of Mr. Anant kumar Sahu, Centre Director of T.I.M.E.
All the students of MBA and MAM participated in the workshop.

SEMINAR ON "Made in Bharat Product (Startup and entrepreneurship)"
R&D Cell organized a seminar for the students of 3rd and 4th year of EE and ECE department on 30th August, 2017 on the topic of "Made in Bharat Product (Startup and entrepreneurship)" by Vivek Singh & his team of VS Energy harmonization and Automation Pvt. Limited, Greater Noida. All type of LED & solar products, automation, Sensors, Designing of solar system & lighting etc was discussed in this seminar.

WORKSHOP ON DIGITAL MARKETING
A workshop on Digital Marketing on " How to make money with Digital Marketing" was held on 31st Aug 2017 Workshop was conducted in association with DigiPerform and all the final year students attended the workshop.

TECHNICAL QUIZ CONDUCTED ON BASIC CONCEPTS OF ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
The Department of Electrical Engineering has conducted a Technical Quiz competition on Basic Concepts of Electrical Engineering for 2nd year, 3rd year & 4th year students on August 26, 2017. The Quiz was conducted with an intention to judge and enhance the understanding level of Basic Concepts of Electrical Engineering.The students were excited to participate as they got the platform to assess their knowledge level acquired till date in the area of Electrical Engineering.

The winners of the quiz are as follows:-

• Second Prize:- Shubham Shrivastava (3rd year) & Mahiyuddin Khan (3rd year)

DEBATE COMPETITION
A Debate competition was held in Mechanical Engineering Department on 08TH September 2017. The topic was "Is honesty still the best policy". Sixteen students (2nd year, 3rd year and 4thyear ME) participated in the event. Mr. Danish Hassan, 3rd year was the winner against the motion and Mr. Priyam Saxena, 2nd year was the winner for the motion. The event was organized by the Committee of Extra Curricular Activity, Department of Mechanical Engineering.

CAREER IN iOS APP DEVELOPMENT
Workshop on "Career in iOS App Development" was organised at IEC on 13th Sep 2017 for the students of Computer Science/ Information Technology and MCA

WORKSHOP ON PROJECT PLANNING & MANAGEMENT
A workshop was organised by Civil Engineering Department on "Project Planning and Management" by RICS India Private Limited (RICS India) on 19th September, 2017.

WORKSHOP ON CYBER SECURITY AWARENESS PROGRAM
Two days workshop was held on "Cyber security awareness program" by Innovative Ideas InfoTech, Lucknow in association with Dr A P J Abdul Kalam University and UP Police. This workshop was organized for the students of B.Tech, MCA and MBA branches on 22nd and 23rd September 2017.
The objective of this workshop was to teach the basic principles of cyber security from the perspective of providing security awareness and its best practices for the real world.

EMBEDDED SYSTEM WORKSHOP
The Embedded System workshop was organized on 26th September 2017 (Tuesday) by the ECE Department. The workshop was successfully conducted by Mr Abhishek, faculty and trainer (APTRON). In this workshop he taught the design and simulation of the project using Proteus software. He also taught the students about the use of Arduino module with Bluetooth, IOT.

WORKSHOP ON LAB VIEW
Department Of Electrical Engineering conducted a workshop on Lab View for the students of 3rd and 4th year from Electrical Engineering and Electrical & Communication Engineering branches on September 26, 2017. Mr. Apoorv Vats ( Scientific Officer and Skill foundation coordinator at AKGEC ) , Ms. Swati Rajput (Scientific Officer ) alongwith Miss Manasvi Goel (Student Coordinator) delivered a lecture and demonstrated the working of LabViewtm

INSIGHT-2017 INQUIZITIVE HELD ON 26th Sept 2017 FOR 1st AND 2nd YEAR STUDENTS (B.TECH AND MBA)
Management department organized an event INSIGHT-2017 INQUIZITIVE (Business Quiz) on 26th September 2017 for 1st and 2nd year students of B.Tech and MBA branches to enhance the knowledge of students in this competitive environment.

SYMPOSIUM ON POWER QUALITY & SOLUTIONS
Electrical Engineering department organized a Technical Symposium on "Power Quality Issues & Solution" for all the 3rd/4th year students on 28th September 2017. The speaker was Dr. Ashish Srivastava, Professor in Manipal University, Jaipur who discussed at length the issues related to power quality.

Department of Computer Science & IT organized a one day workshop on the topic of "Advancement in Computer Networks". The workshop was organized in collaboration with CETPA Infotech Pvt. Ltd on 25th Feb 2016.

The team members, Mr. Harjit and Ms. Bhawna from CETPA were welcomed by Dr. Prabhat Vishwakarma , HOD CSE & IT. He explained the need of Computer Networks during the inaugural session. Ms. Bhawna Singhal, Corporate Trainer and CCNP certified professional explained the various topics of Computer Networks. It was an interactive session. She explained the basic concepts of networks along with CISCO networking tools.

98 students of CS, IT & MCA participated in the workshop. All the faculty members of CS, IT & MCA were present during the workshop.
