The District Administration(DSWO), Gautam Buddh Nagar has planned to organise an awareness Programme (Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan) In IEC College of Engineering & Technology, Greater Noida on “6th Oct 2021” at 12.00 Pm in the college premises.
The programme has been started from Lightning of the lamp with Shri Shailendra Bahadur Singh(District Social Welfare Officer), Shri Virendra Kumar Srivastava (Chief Vetrinary Officer), Shri Hemant Kumar Ji (District Economic& Statistical Officer),Manager Academy Mr. Dipanshu Singh, Director Academics(Prof. Sunil Kumar), & CFO Mr. Abhijeet .
Addressing the program, Shri Shailendra Bahadur Singh(District Social Welfare Officer), said that on Against Drug Abuse, we have come together to strengthen our determination against drug abuse in any form and to send a message to the world that India will leave no stone unturned to fight against this evil. It also reaffirms our commitment to achieve social goals, initiatives to end drug abuse and strengthen community-centric approaches and outcomes. Shri Virendra Kumar Srivastav(Chief Vetrinary Officer) expressed the resolve that India is committed to root out the menace of drug abuse at any cost.
On this occasion, Shri Hemant Kumar Ji (District Economic& Statistical Officer)said that a large number of lives have been ruined by the menace of substance abuse. There is a need to generate awareness about the ill-effects of this evil and we must put an end to the drugs trade. We need to achieve a drug-free India and the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment is very serious on achieving this end, he added.
