Industrial visit to “C & S ELECTRIC Ltd.”
An Industrial visit to “C & S ELECTRIC Ltd.”, A-10, Sector 8, Vyapar Marg, Noida, Uttar Pradesh- 201301 was organized by the Electrical Engineering Department of IEC-CET on Friday, 26th October 2018. Twelve Electrical Engineering students and three faculties visited to C & S ELECTRIC Ltd. to interact with the control & switch gear Industry to understand current market scenarios, latest most-demanding technologies & criteria for selection etc. In this visit students were very curious for knowing the working procedure of industires.
In the afternoon at 11:00 am we visited to C & S ELECTRIC Ltd. We divided our students in the batch of 6 students per batch for the visit and the interaction with the industry person. The Technical Head of C & S ELECTRIC Ltd. conducted very informative session for the students. Also he motivated to the students to select their domain and area of interest. He also guided on Ring Main Unit (RMU) for transformer protection technology which is their working technology in which they used SF6 for isolation and the main advantage is that it occupy less space than other panels. Finally he gave a brief introduction of C & S ELECTRIC Ltd. and their Company in Haridwar.
The session was concluded with Question- Answer session. Many of the students asked different questions to the Technical Head on current demanding technologies. And he cleared all the doubt and myths which was in students mind about the technologies. All students were satisfied after the session.
Mr Tarun Singh & Mr Subham Goel presented a Memento to the Head of Training department of C & S ELECTRIC Ltd. The visit came to an end at 1.30 p.m.
Finally, we left the premises at 1.30 p.m. It was an informative, interesting and a successful visit. As students of Electrical Engineering, they understand a live isolator & circuit breaker applications and importance of the technology in safety selection, etc. We express our thanks to the Technical Head and all team members of C & S ELECTRIC Ltd. who spent their valuable time for us. We also thank to our respected Director, Dean, HOD & Teachers who motivate us to arrange such an informative program. Lately we request you to arrange more industrial visit in the future for the students which will be helpful for the students and help to train students.
