The IEC College of Engineering and Technology was started under the aegis of the Vocational Educational Foundation (VEF) in the year1999. VEF itself came into existence in 1989, with the aim of providing relevant and reliable education in different parts of India, a nation in need of initiatives for educating its large population. Vocational Education Foundation strives to provide high quality education and leaves no stone unturned to achieve this goal. The members of VEF constantly monitor the operations of IEC College to ensure transparency and accountability, to maintain the high ideals that VEF stands for.

Education at IEC has several components ranging from Academic matters to Personality Development Programmes. In fact, IEC students have performed exceedingly well in academic matters and have a well-rounded personality. In a span of ten years, the student family of IEC has grown tremendously and currently has 3,500 student members. This clearly reveals that IEC has emerged as a well sought-after institution, and is Genesis !!

growing in popularity at a fast pace. Its reputation of being a place offering high quality professional education is spreading in India as well as in other parts of the world. IEC is also proud of its increasing family of 500 foreign students belonging to 30 countries and is happy that they feel quite at home oncampus.

Our future plans are based on our basic goal to incorporate all the latest, advanced systems and technologies prevalent in the developed countries of the world in our curriculum. Consequently, our curriculum has the potential to facilitate technical skill development of a very high calibre.

Hence, we are in the process of providing newer higher education opportunities in the near future. Our infrastructure is already suited to largescale expansion with abundant resources and facilities. The recruitment of well qualified administrative and academic staff members is an on-going process in IEC to cater to the needs of all the academic programmes.
